The AcoustaGrip FC111 "First Chair" series is the world's first shoulder/back pad designed specifically for the cello. It features a two-layer breathable construction (2-Layer Design) combined with Micro-Air micro-suction technology, allowing it to attach naturally to the back of the instrument without adhesive – reusable many times and leaving no residue.

Its soft, comfortable foam material effectively prevents the skin chafing and pressure marks caused by long playing sessions, while also reducing sweat damage to the instrument body and enhancing the fullness and resonance of the tone as it fits against the cello.
